Billy also was an avid fisherman who never experienced a bad day fishing. With his skills in the woodshop, he could take the most dilapidated wood and turn it into amazingly functional and beautiful pieces of furniture. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Scott and his mother, Myrtle Harrell Scott both of Suffolk, VA.īilly was a long-time resident of Gates, NC and retired as a carpenter. 81, affectionately known as “Billy” went to his eternal fishing hole on September 21, 2023.
